The Rolex Space Dweller - A mechanical unicorn

Initiated in 1958 and completed in 1963, Project Mercury was the first human spaceflight program of the United States.  To honor these explorers, Rolex introduced the Ref. 1016 Space-Dweller - an extremely rare watch that was sold on a trial basis in the Japanese market.  

Very few Space Dwellers have ever exchanged hands, and when they do, prices are astronomical (get it?).
